Established in 2004, Bliss Events has four experienced Planners who have worked with most venues and vendors in San Diego County, having built countless relationships that help weddings run smoothly and successfully.
On an event day, our team is on site and deeply involved in the details, with friendly smiles and laser-focus on the outcome of the event. The culmination of all our hard work is as important to us as it is to you!
Common questions
The venue coordinator’s job is to ensure the venue runs smoothly, with responsibilities such as overseeing in-house food and beverage, ensuring in-house tables/chairs are set correctly, directing venue staff, and fulfilling contractual obligations.
They do NOT manage your vendors, run your rehearsal, keep the wedding day running on time, set up your decor and personal items, and manage your wedding party and guests. These are the wedding planner’s duties! Both people have important jobs, but different responsibilities.
The starting price for our base package, Tying It All Together, is $3,600. Full service wedding planning (our Every Step of the Way package) starts at $13,000. We also offer customized planning packages, and the price falls between $3,600 and $13,000.

Yes, we can! In fact, about half of our clients do not live in San Diego County; they live all over the world. So we are very comfortable with out-of-city/state/country clients and communicating via phone, e-mail, Zoom, Google Meet, etc. Our local San Diego County knowledge will make you feel confident you are getting the best support for your wedding.
We work with every background, faith, age, and family structure. All are welcome: same-sex couples, interfaith ceremonies, multicultural celebrations, etc. Love is love!
Statistics show that the average wedding takes approximately 250 hours to plan (that is equivalent to over 6 full work weeks!). A Planner can save you time, help you prioritize your vendors, get your budget in order, provide qualified vendor referrals, accompany you to vendor meetings and know what questions to ask, review vendor contracts, negotiate on your behalf, and help with design ideas.
In the final month before your wedding, a Planner will confirm your vendors, create a timeline, run your rehearsal, and be there to ensure that you, your family, and friends enjoy a totally stress-free day.
The Planner you meet at your consultation is the same person you will be working with during your entire wedding planning process! Your Planner begins to develop their relationship with you during your consultation, then we keep it simple, straightforward, and easy for you. On your wedding day, your Planner will also have a few Assistants to help.
